IMProVET (Innovative Methodology for Promising VET Areas) - Leonardo da Vinci European project (Transfer of Innovation) of the Department of
Telecommunication Engineering (coordinator). The main objective of the project is substantial increasing of VET level for the target group.

FREEDOM (Femtocell-based Network Enhancement by Interference Management and Coordination) - This FP7 project aims at improving the efficiency of networks with a massive femtocell deployment. The core concepts investigated in FREEDOM are interference management and cooperation, dense femtocell-specific RRM and mobility support, scalability and effectiveness, and femtocell-based network planning.
